Green Gang is a hip-hop/rap duo consisting of Jared Gray and Blake Rembert from Indiana. They recently released their mixtape/album/CD (or whatever you want to call it), titled Pick Up Where We Left Off on July 4th, 2012. With production by Jacob Homan and original instrumentals mixed in w/ other artist's instrumentals, it was sure to be a great project! Read more to listen and download.

Rihanna - Talk That Talk [hear]

Today was the official release to Rihanna's album entitled "Talk That Talk". This album is rare to current times because it doesn't have many features. The only track with a real feature is "Talk That Talk" featuring the soon-to-be father Jay-Z. From the iTunes previews it sounds like it could be a pretty good album. The mass thinks so because it's at #1 on the iTunes charts currently beating Drake's Take Care. So read more to purchase, download, listen, watch the "We Found Love" video (which I swear is telling a story about Chris Brown with that blond-haired look-alike), and download the album artwork.

Drake - Take Care [hear]

Today is the day that "Take Care" drops. The highly anticipated sophomore album of Drizzy Drake. If you haven't heard by now, the album leaked some time last week. Since then it has got many plays in my iTunes. This album is definitely an emotional album with the usual Drake flows speaking of past affairs and how his OVO crew has/is taking over. Also, if you're a Juvenile fan (the rapper), Drake puts his flavor on Juvenile's "Back that ass up" on "Practice" (Which I don't care too much for, but to each their own.) Blink-182 - Neighborhoods (album) [hear]

Today Mark, Tom, and Travis come back together as Blink 182 to release their new album entitled "Neighborhoods". Being an avid Blink 182 as a teen and being the band that got me playing guitar, it's nice to see they haven't gotten far from their roots. Hope you can enjoy some punk rock from a remarkable three piece band. To listen, watch, and download read some more punks...

DJ Khaled - We The Best Forever [hear]

DJ Khaled We The Best Forever Album
DJ Khaled has released another star-studded album entitled We The Best Forever. I think someone has told him not to talk as much on the tracks because he says very little compared to his older CDs. The album features artists like Drake, Lil’ Wayne, Rick Ross, Chris Brown, Big Sean, Game, Cee-Lo, Young Jeezy, Ludacris, Ne-Yo, and many more. There were a lot of sweet beats with production from Danja, Noah ‘40’ Shebib, The Runners, Boi-1da, and more. The singles were Welcome To My Hood, I’m On One, and It Ain’t Over Til It’s Over. After thorough listens to the album, I rated it a 4/5 stars overall. My favorite songs are I’m On One, Sleep When I’m Gone, and My Life. I commented on each track below and you can view my individual ratings as well.

Big Sean - Finally Famous [hear]

BigSean-finally famous
Big Sean arrives today with his first official studio album entitled "Finally Famous". Big Sean, signed by Kanye West to G.O.O.D. Music under Def Jam when Kanye heard him rap just a few lines in the middle of the doorway at a radio station in Detroit. Big Sean has been making a name for himself from his "Finally Famous Mixtapes" producing a few singles like "What U Doin?" to now his singles off of his new album like "My Last" featuring Chris Brown (which he performed on BET awards on June 26th) and "I Do It". This "Finally Famous" album has been pushed back so many months it better produce some hits now that it's hitting shelves. From how much I've heard it, the album is definitely G.O.O.D. music. No pun intended. Since I have listened to every song off the album I rated each song respective to the album itself as seen in the image below. Also, I commented on each track if you care to read my short opinion. Haha.
